Official Player Guide
Welcome to the TPA Thai League 2026 for Thai players. This guide explains how to register, how to play, how to qualify for Nationals, and how promotion works — in a simple and clear way.
Organized by Thailand Padel Association (TPA)
Supported by the recognition of FIP (International Padel Federation).
1️⃣ WHAT IS THE TPA THAI LEAGUE?
A 45-day TPA official league competition exclusively for Thai nationals
Each league includes:
✅ Opening Day Event (all teams together, same club, same day)
✅ 45 days to play your matches
✅ Regional Final Day Event (same club, same day)
✅ Official TPA Ranking Points
✅ Possibility to qualify for National Finals Weekend
This is not a one-day tournament. It is a structured competitive season.
2️⃣ WHO CAN PLAY?
To participate, you must:
🇹🇭 Be a Thai national
Show valid Thai ID or passport
Register on Rankedin
Request your free TPA License
No license = no playing.
3️⃣ DIVISIONS & LEVELS
Each league has 8 couples (16 players).
Division 1
Level 3.50+
Advanced / competitive players
Division 2
Level 3.50 – 2.50
Intermediate players
Division 3
Level 2.50 – 1.50
Developing players
👉 You register according to your real level.
👉 TPA may adjust divisions if necessary.

5️⃣ HOW TO REGISTER
Step 1 – Register on Rankedin
Find your city and division
Register with your partner
Pay registration fee
Step 2 – Pay 1,000 THB
Payment to official TPA KBank account.
⚠️ Court fees and balls during league matches are paid by players.
6️⃣ LEAGUE FORMAT
Each league has:
8 couples
Round Robin format
7 matches per team
45 days to complete matches
Match Format
Best of 3 sets
Two deuces → Golden Point
6–6 → Standard tie-break
7️⃣ POINT SYSTEM (League Phase)
Win → 3 points
Loss → 1 point
Walkover win → 3 points
Walkover loss → 0 points
Leaderboard is updated on Rankedin.
Both teams must confirm scores.
8️⃣ IF TEAMS HAVE SAME POINTS
Tie-break order:
Head-to-head result
Set difference
Game difference
Coin toss decision by TPA
9️⃣ PROMOTION & RELEGATION
(Only in cities with multiple divisions: Bangkok & Phuket)
Promotion
1st & 2nd in Division 2 → move to Division 1
1st & 2nd in Division 3 → move to Division 2
Relegation
7th & 8th in Division 1 → move to Division 2
7th & 8th in Division 2 → move to Division 3
This guarantees competitive balance and real progression.

Opening Day and Final Day are mandatory.

IMPORTANT NOTES;
1- Tournament fee free for the players.
2 - Traveling and accommodation expenses will be on the players, TPA not in charge.
3 - If any of the couples 1st or 2nd not participating in this event, the position 3rd of their league will be the proposed couple, or the 4th, or the 5th, etc.
4 - The 2 couples which are qualified in each region, not mandatory to play the same formation. They can combine the 4 players as their convenience.

.This section is critical because discipline protects the credibility of the league, the ranking, and the sponsors behind it.
⚖️ DISCIPLINARY SYSTEM – PENALTIES & SANCTIONS
The TPA Thai League is built on fair play, respect, punctuality, and professionalism.
Any behavior that damages the competition, opponents, organizers, or sponsors may result in sanctions.
Sanctions are divided into three levels:
🟡 LEVEL 1 – POINT DEDUCTIONS
Applied for minor or repeated administrative offenses.
Situations That May Result in Point Deduction:
• Failure to upload match result within 24 hours
• Repeated late cancellations (less than 24h notice)
• Delay of more than 20 minutes to a scheduled match
• Incorrect score reporting
• Unsportsmanlike behavior (minor verbal incidents)
• Playing with non official logos.
• Refusal to attend mandatory Opening or Final Day without valid reason
Penalty:
• -1 league point
• Official warning registered in TPA system
Repeated Level 1 violations may escalate to Level 2.
🟠 LEVEL 2 – MATCH PENALTIES
Applied for serious competitive violations.
Situations That May Result in Match Penalty:
• Walkover without justified reason
• Refusing to finish a match
• Aggressive verbal confrontation
• Breaking scheduling rules repeatedly
• Fielding an unregistered or ineligible player
• Manipulating results or agreements between teams
Penalty:
• Match recorded as 6-0 / 6-0 loss
• 0 league points for the match
• Possible additional -3 league points according to Regional manager.
• Official disciplinary review
Two Level 2 violations may result in automatic disqualification.
🔴 LEVEL 3 – DISQUALIFICATION
Reserved for major offenses that harm the integrity of the league.
Situations That May Result in Disqualification:
• Physical aggression
• Racist, discriminatory, or offensive behavior
• Serious abuse toward opponents, referees, or staff
• Proven cheating or match-fixing
• Identity fraud (playing under another name)
• Non-payment of required fees
• Severe damage to club facilities
Penalty:
• Immediate removal from the league
• All matches converted to walkover losses
• Loss of ranking points from the league
• Suspension from future TPA events (3–12 months or permanent)
In extreme cases, players may be banned from all TPA competitions nationwide.
🧭 WALKOVER POLICY
If a team cannot play:
• Must notify opponent at least 48h in advance
• Opponent receives 3 points
• Score registered 6-0 / 6-0
If no notice or repeated behavior:
• Additional -3 points penalty
• Possible escalation to Level 2 sanction
Two walkovers in the same league = automatic review.
🏛 DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE
All serious cases are reviewed by the TPA Competition Committee.
Decisions are:
• Based on written reports
• Final and binding
• Communicated officially within 72 hours
